A few days after Chester passed on, we lost a very sweet and kind lady.

Minnie Jane Mosher

Minnie Jane (Licklider) Mosher passed away April 23, 2008 after a long battle with congestive heart failure and complications from pneumonia.
Minnie was born October 28, 1926 in St. Louis, Mo. to Barney Licklider and Minnie (Schuenemeyer) Licklider. On Sept. 14, 1946 she was united in marriage to Boley Ivan Mosher in St. James, Mo. To this union 4 children were born; Kenneth, Ronald, Sharon and David.


Minnie was employed 26 years by the Rockwood School District, retiring as Budget Controller. She was a longtime member of the Central Baptist Church in Eureka. She enjoyed meeting with several groups for lunch; her retirement group for Rockwood, Boley’s retirement group GCIU Local Union, Laclede Grade School and Bethel Church.


Minnie is survived by her children Ronald, Sharon and David, one grandson Bradley (Melissa) Mosher, 3 great-grandchildren Christi Hankcock, Hannah and Matthew Mosher, on brother-in-law, Charles (Peggy) Gholson and one sister-in-law Letty Licklider. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Kenneth, her husband Boley, one nephew Skip and one brother Harold.
Burial was in the High Gate Baptist Cemetery in High Gate, Mo.

I hate to make this the second post of the site.  Chester was a good man and I am proud to call him family.

Chester William Schuenemeyer

Chester William Schuenemeyer of Owensville departed this life on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Frene Valley Healthcare in Owensville. He had reached the age of 77 years, five months and two days. Chester was born in High Gate, Mo. on November 10, 1930, the son of the late Albert C. and Angeline (Welch) Schuenemeyer. On February 16, 1951 he was united in marriage to Maralyn Rauter in Piggott, Arkansas. He was a maintenance person for a commercial printing plant; He served on the Owensville Volunteer Fire Department for over 45 years; was a member of the Owensville-Rosebud Threshers Assn; and a member of the Owensville Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by a great- granddaughter, Kelsey Jensen. His survivors include his wife, Maralyn; their daughter, Carol Ann Bock and husband Kevin of St. James; by a brother Charles Schuenemeyer and wife Carolyn of Lebanon; by two grandchildren, Amy Ybarra and husband Carlos of Jackson, Mo. and Leslie Soares of Florissant, Mo.; and by one great-granddaughter, Selena Ybarra. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville with Rev. Terry Knight officiating. Burial in the Countryside Memorial Gardens
