Leon and Lee SchuenemeyerAfter much delay, I have scanned and archived over 800 pictures of the family.  I’ll be posting some here and some more over at my Google Picasa site.  If you have some that you want to share, please email me and we can work out how best to get them to me for the site!

I had an email from the contact form on the site asking about Edward and, his daughter, Deanna Schuenemeyer.  The lady asking gave a name of Jenny and left her email address.  If you would like to send me information to pass to her or would like her email address, please drop me a line via the “Contact Us” form.

Thank you!

At 1 pm in Beaufort, MO, the Schuenemeyer family will celebrate its 35th family reunion. Details as I get them!

Updated Reunion Information – The golf tee times are set up thanks to Dan.  Thanks to Brenda to getting the word out!

Than my son, Eli.  His 7th grade football team has been taking it to the other teams in the Ozarks Football League.

6 feet of twisted steel and girl appealWhat the Heck are you lookin' at?

So far, the Lebanon Yellowjackets are undefeated.  In fact, the opposing teams have only scored 6 total points against the 7th grade Jackets.  These boys young men have only 14 to 16 active players, so they play mostly Iron Man football.  Eli pulls double duty on the offense line as a tackle and on the kick-off team.

Open For Business!

After 6 or 7 years, I finally have the family a website to share information, family photos, and ancestry logs.  The idea is any relative can get access and add a post or page without having  to know anything more than how to type and use a user name with password.

Some rules and guidelines that I will run the site by:

  • Everybody is welcome.  Even though the site is Schuenemeyer.com, all family members that are related will be welcome to contribute.  Essentially, if you descended from, married to, or related to someone who is descended from Johann Christian Schuenemeyer then you are family and are considered welcome.  I hope that covers everybody.  If not, PLEASE let me know.
  • I’ll never run ads on the site and everybody’s information will be private.
  • Send me a picture of your family and I will put it into the title header rotation.
  • I’m always open for suggestions.

So, for now, that is it.  I hope we can use this site to its fullest.
